Ya know something? You really need to seriously educate yourself, and put your blatant ignorance and cavalier attitude about the COVID pandemic, and it's effects in check over the air, as in STOW IT, permanently! I'm 57 y.o. disabled and at serious medical comorbidity risk from COVID-19. I've had young kids in my own family, near death, now life long-haulers from it. I've known people personally who've lost loved ones to COVID. My own nephew is a veteran OB/GYN surgeon in Chicagoland. He saw thousands die (mostly of their own stupidity) and shared his first-hand experience with me. People who act like you about COVID, in public, are an insult him (and by-extension, me) personally, and his profession with your flippancy and thoughtlessness in your speech. So, contrary to your widely-broadcasted individual experience of "not a big deal, a minor illness, or 'cooties'"as you refer to this deadly virus as, I have myself have seen over a million 'good-as-dead' reasons pushing up daisies that demonstrate otherwise already, in spite of you and your callous OPINION..., As such, therefore just as many reasons *not to check-in, and avoid such South Park animated, casually ignorant, and rube-minded group-think, thus verbalized over a wide-area, high level megaphone, hereafter. Just so we're 'crystal' clear, I'm a person of integrity, and a good radio operator of many years, which is why this response is in the form of an e-mail to your station, and not a verbal takedown directly over the air waves, in response to this rubbish, on this ocassion. You would do well to learn the same restraint by this example before you run your mouth without thinking first over the air next time around.
