possibilities to arise the fire.

from an RF transistor datasheet was just casually perusing….my sense of humor in bold.2656465_rd70hvf170watt

ATTENTION:

1.High Temperature ; This product might have a heat generation while operation,Please take notice that have a possibility to receive a burn to touch the operating product directly or touch the product until cold after switch off. At the near the product,do not place the combustible material that have possibilities to arise the fire.

2.Generation of High Frequency Power ; This product generate a high frequency power. Please take notice that do not leakage the unnecessary electric wave and use this products without cause damage for human and property per normal operation.

3.Before use; Before use the product,Please design the equipment in consideration of the risk for human and electric wave obstacle for equipment.

semi-conductor corrosion

so, my weather satellite pics where getting worse since the rain came back.  pulled the antenna down, cleaned all the connectors, like cleaning the lense on a camera i suppose.  the corrosion becomes a semi-conductor, and can rectify RF, attenuate the signal, basically make the connection a semi-connection.  doesn’t take much loss to not hear at all when listening for radio 870km away….

and now that the connection is clean, can see the coming cold front, Thanks For The Rain!!!

All’s Well that Pumps Well.

little bit of well pump fun for a good friend.  out with the old, in with the new.  gonna fix the old too and see what the other well can pull.  blessed are we with water.

24vdc all wired and roped up and ready to go.

20151213_155129

all of that goin in the hole.

except the plugs on the shurflo pump are shit.  pins are too small for the sockets of the plug.  so contact stops if the cable is wiggled.  of course its gonna wiggle goin in the hole, modifed the pins a wee bit, and see how long it lasts.  if quality is this far off on the things i can see, wonder how bad it is inside….  only time in the hole will tell.

and this is part of the why the old one wasn’t pushing much.  argument here for brass fittings.

need bigger brain

re-purposed capsule board for the brain, and we have, unicorn farts!  the 256bytes of ram is limiting me from doing a proper dual-frame display array for smooth x-fades, so, morning we bust out an at90usb1287 for the job.  BIGGER BRAINZ !!!

bc7#10 lives.

there is a Zen saying about how the empty space inside a vessel truly defines the vessel.  This is the tenth time i have done this procedure,  and still i find ways to improve the process.  ladies’n’germs, bc7 #10 complete with all fingers and toes and ears and stuff.
