some days are harder to get started than others. corroded main terminal, busted the housing trying to remove it, new solenoid on order. maintenance is a little now and then, or a whole lot all of a sudden. at least i know why it “felt” tight but wasn’t. i suspected the contacts inside where fried, but actually look very good, clean, and not burnt or corroded away. hope the replacement is as well built as the original, or better wrt insulator cap.
finally got the Rogue MPT-3048 hooked up to a VM copy of XP so to get telemetry from my 2nd solar system. it’s not much, but enough i can reverse the serial protocol, and code up something that will run on linux and osx to do the same data collection.
tried a different method of “punch down”. also forgot to put on top rack, and rotate about 1/2 way thru. not bad for zombie midnight mistake bread….
dialing it in. licking machine torque sensing control version 4. will be bringing prototype to the TTITD, stop by L3K at 7:45-F if you’d like to test it out or have input on the GUI and reaction profiles.

yes, Na and K stuck together. lasts whopping 2.5 seconds. how? with super cooler using lasers to chill Na and K gas so slow they attach and become a molecule. Ok, this counts as mad science in my book.

these ladies love the extra water from the garden nearby. all i can think of is, “what coolness could be had by cloning these with other crops…”
who can confirm or deny these are of the calendula family? all i can tell is similar except the color is deeper orange and the seeds from last year are more dark, but same shape/size ??
